As usual the noise was very low and I heard so many stations that didn't
hear me at all. I think it's worth me getting a small amp and running 500
watts if for no other reason than 160m contests. Just when I thought nobody
east of Texas could hear me, a loud K6ND came on and I thought "well, at
least I can work California" and behold up came 9 points. I see this morning
that he's in MA. So, hope is renewed once more.
