I just got off the phone with KM6K’s wife, Susan.  She asked that I pass
along this information to Tom’s friends:



For those of you who may not know, he suffered a stroke yesterday morning
while driving.

He was able to pull to the side of the road (State Route 52) then lost
consciousness.

CHP found him in the vehicle a few hours later and had to break the window
to get in.



Tom was taken to Sharp Hospital, where he remains unconscious in the
Intensive Care Unit.

His condition is still being evaluated but he is not doing well.



As stated, he is still unconscious (not medically induced) and is not a
candidate for surgery at this time.

He is suffering paralysis, but it’s still too soon to make a significant
diagnosis.



There is no hospital visitation permitted at this time.
