Ditto, exactly, with better input options on rigs (like the K3) it has 
become a no brainer, I didn't even consider an inboard option, the computer 
is so much more versatile, you can "pre-massage" the signal with 
compression, EQ etc for maximum punch, I just have to keep it even with the 
mike signal, but I bet my CQ message still has more punch.
