Sunday was pretty much a 20m day hoping to CQ my way into the last needed
Sections with a foray into sweeping the bands for a pileup that might
produce one of those illusive ones. What I noticed through the first hour or
so was that I was getting and asking for lots of repeats...the QSB pattern
was about 1/2 the length of the exchange...so I opened up the AGC and rode
the RF thru the rest of the time I could stick with it....it worked and kept
the repeats down.  But I think it took its toll ... I threw in the towel
when I was not getting enough rate (2nd NFL Game kicked in????)

 

Perhaps the meager spots / SFI will improve by SSB weekend.
