Can't compare to last year when I didn't do all band, but without the bad
noise 
the score would probably have been closer to 2007. I missed whatever might
have 
opened Saturday morning, and then Sunday morning actually fell asleep with
my 
hand on the dial searching for more Europe. Maintaining concentration when
you're 
averaging under 10 contacts an hour is a challenge. 

This was a mostly casual effort but I put a lot of time into it. Almost
constant
S9 noise of unknown source really hurt my JA count on 40m, and 80m was quiet
but
nothing much heard that I could work. I managed a handful of Europe Sunday
morning, 
a few Africans, some Pacific countries I haven't heard in a while, and I
pulled 
off a few ego-maintaining pileup busting tricks. Overall, a nice way to end
the
holiday weekend.
