Hello World!

The convention will be here in no time! We had our final committee meeting
today and we would like to inform everyone again about the banquet table
reservation procedure instituted this year. It was on the registration form
however you may have missed it and we do not want anyone to be left out!

Here is the verbiage on the convention registration form:

If you don't wish to wait in line Friday or Saturday for Banquet Seating,
E-Mail

seating assignments will be accepted beginning Monday February 22, 2010. All
seating

is on a first come, first serve basis. No requests for a specific table or
table

location will be honored. Individual and Group seating will be available,
but all

parties must be registered for the convention and banquet before assignments
can be

made. One person must be responsible for the group request. 10 is the
maximum per

group. See web site (www.dxconvention.org) for complete details.

You are required to have your registration number. There is one for every
individual so if you registered your spouse, children, or a friend you will
find a number for each one on the confirmation card we mailed to you. Again
if you are making a reservation for a group you need all the reservation
numbers for the group members as described in detail on the website.
Currently we have about 500 registered attendees and about 320 are taking
advantage of the banquet reservation procedure.

Everything is on track and we expect a great turn out. At this point we are
have about 25% more registrations than we did the same time two years ago.
We are also working on a CW Pile Up competition. The Kansas City DX Club has
agreed to make the audio file and we are looking into a room and a time to
run it. The prize for the winner is going to be nice! Even better is the
bragging rights! The speakers, vendors, and prizes are set. This will be a
memorable one!

Please forward this message to the NCCC reflector and to your club members.

Thanks

Bill
