It's official now, according to the ARRL
website: SCCC won the club competition in
the 2010 January VHF Sweepstakes--by a huge
margin. This is the third VHF/UHF contest
in a row to be won by SCCC.

SCCC had over five million points to win the
medium category. The Mt. Airy (PA) VHF Club
won the unlimited category with 2.6 million
points from 70 logs. SCCC's five megapoints
came from only 12 logs. Runnerup in the medium
category was the Northeast Weak Signal Group,
with just under one million from 35 logs.
PVRC was third with 840K from 22 logs. NCCC
has a club aggregate score of just under 19K
(19 thousand) from 15 logs. Nationally 41
clubs submitted the required three or more logs
to participate in the club competition.

The June VHF contest is just three weeks away.
The SCCC rovers would welcome interested SCCC
members to join us. Even if a weekend-long rove
isn't in the cards, please consider getting on
any band above 50 MHz and working us.

73,
Wayne, N6NB
