> LOCATION: State Route 46, 2 miles east of Kecks Road in Lost Hills
> DATE OF DEATH: 09/23/2010      &nb sp;  TIME: 1610 Hours
> PLACE OF DEATH: At scene
> INVESTIGATING AGENCY: California Highwy Patrol

> Details: The decedent was a passenger of an auto that collided with a 
> semi-tractor trailer and died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

> The California Highway Patrol gave the following account:

> Chongye Clement, 59, of Bakersfield was driving a 2004 Honda car east on 
> Highway 46 behind a 2002 Kenworth truck-trailer driven by 53-year-old 
> Ruben Gonzalez of Bakersfield.

> At about 4:05 p.m. Thursday as they were just east of Kecks Road, the 
> truck came upon slower moving traffic and went into the westbound lane to 
> pass.

> The car also went in the westbound lane to pass.

> As the truck started to return to the eastbound land, the right side of 
> the truck collided with the left side of the Honda. The Honda went out of 
> control and overturned on its roof.
