Many problems. Was in San Luis Obispo a week before the contest, and did  
repair work on all the antennas hoping for no troubles in the contest, but it 
 was not to be. Severe wind and rain throughout and even lightning the 
first  night. The wind turned the 15 meter beam 90 degrees in the one hour 
before the  contest started, which I discovered the hard way. The offset was not 
constant,  but changed a few times during the contest as the wind continued 
to work its  mischief. Feedline to 10 meter beam went bad after the first 
day. Output from  the K3 intermittently varied by plus/minus 50%, endangering 
the grids in  one of the finals. But, it was so bad outside that there was 
nothing else to do  except stay in the chair.
 
Given prior knowledge of the large CME, it was especially interesting to  
watch propagation and how it changed during the contest. However, I  greatly 
prefer what we got over what we had been having.
 
Lots of antenna work to be done...
