[SCCC] Anacapa Island NA-144 W6UX/p during IOTA Contest

Jeff Hall, W6UX and Tim Goeppinger, K6GEP, along with fellow 
ham operator Rich Soikkeli, AE6RS will be activating Anacapa Island 
(NA-144) on Friday afternoon, July 29th through early afternoon Sunday, 
July 31st as W6UX/P.  The purpose of our trip is two-fold: 1) gain 
experience managing DX pile-ups and 2) provide a high value target for 
the IOTA contest that weekend.  We will be taking several wire antennas 
with us, including bands for 6, 15, 17, 20, 30,  and 40 meters.  Our source of 
power will be batteries and 1 solar panel.  Our primary radio will be 
Jeff's K3 and an ICOM-7000 as a backup.  We'll be operating both CW 
and SSB, and maybe a bit of RTTY.
 Potentially
 also joining us will be Tom Thomas, WA6WPG who will be operating under 
his own call sign.  Tom has been to the island many times so we hope he 
can make it.  In any case, Tom's sage advice has been greatly appreciated.
