This would work well for the filaments is my liquid nitrogen
cooled California Amp, but Yuma is a little far for a pick-up.

aren't worth having!

Subject: [SCCC] 3300 VDC Power Supply - Free for pickup in Yuma

I whipped this power supply together in the 1970's, and I haven't
used it for three or four years now. It is crude, and needs to
be rebuilt and repackaged, but it all works. It is free to the
first person who says, "I will come over to Yuma and get it."

Major components:
GE Pole Pig 240/2400 VAC, 5 KVA, still in oil-filled metal can. I'm 80% sure the

oil is non-PCB.
FWB diode stack, six diodes per leg. I think I remember rebuilding with 1 KV, 1A

avalanche-type after they were invented.
Four Laser Capacitors 50 uF @ 3500 VDC each, configured as 50 uF @ 7000 VDC.
Never a problem at 3.3 KVDC.
