[SCCC] SCCC Meeting in Nipomo, August 25, 2012

This year there will be a Southern California Contest Club meeting as part
of the Central Coast DXer - Contester BBQ at W6TK's QTH in Nipomo on August
25th..

Nipomo is  north of Santa Maria, near the northern edge of our area. I
encourage you to carpool, and use the SCCC reflector to do so.

                  2012 xx-Annual DXers/Contesters BBQ

You are invited to the xx-Annual DXers/Contesters BBQ.  "xx-Annual" because
I don't know which year we began this.

     Mark AUG 25, 2012 on your calendar - this is the date for the BBQ.  It
will again be held at the home of Dick, W6TK and Liz, KC6PIK at 641
Sandydale Dr Nipomo, CA 93444.

     We will plan to serve tri-tip and chicken starting about noon.  But
all are welcome anytime after 11AM. Snacks will be available before noon.
 If you have any swap items you would like to bring along for the BBQ Swap
Table - feel free - but please plan to take back anything that you don't
sell.  Show and tell is encouraged - you will be limited to 3 Min max -
otherwise you might encounter QRM on your frequency!!  Any interested
friends are welcome and invited.

     We are planning the same format for the BBQ this year.  If you are
local and want to bring a dish or dessert that would be great.  But please
don't stay away because you aren't bringing a dish or dessert. The cost
will again be $7.50/person.  If you bring a dish/dessert for the pot-luck
BBQ the cost is $5.00/person.

     I have streamlined the email list since we haven't seen some of the
folks for a while - but friends and interested folk are welcome and
invited.  So if you know someone who might be interested in DXing and/or
Contesting and would like to meet some of the crowd - please feel free to
invite them.

     PLEASE RSVP by Monday, AUG 20.  Indicate how many will come and
whether you will bring a dish/dessert or just yourself.   RSVP to me at
