Software N1MM 12.12.4
Well it was only a matter of time. I lost the last hour and and hour at 5 this morning with
a cascade PC/software failure. On 80m RF swamped the DSL router and messed up the NIC in my
desktop. This caused N1MM to lockup and since I run the desktop PC in network mode
it locked up the shack laptop. The crash at the end screwed up about 12 Qs. After fixing
everything I was finished. Still did well The rest of the gear was flawless with the '1200 running flat out
the whole time kept the shack nice a warm. The bands were ok - not bad - but disapointing given
the big increase in solar flux and spot count.
EU was there on 15 and 20 loud but not very many. 15 was the best of all stable and open most of the day.
40 was good with lots of ZSs to work and some EU. Activity was excellent with some great runs. I
only missed 2 states ND and NV along with DC and lots of VEs
Ran stations mostly with S&P only to find a spot. Had someone call me in CW ??? I'm guessing there is no
cross mode and I didn't want to break a good rate.
The bands should be in good shape next weekend for NAQP...I hope!
