Greetings!

Its getting to be that time of the year to perform your yearly tower
maintenance...or for some of you, your "first time ever" tower
maintenance!

I just purchased a case of Pre-Lube 6 cable lubricant. I'll have
half-a-dozen cans for sale for $10.00. You can also buy it here...

Also, I have Mobil SHC-630 and SHC-634 for your Hub City speed reducers
(worm gear boxes)...
http://www.mobil.com/USA-English/Lubes/PDS/GLXXENINDMOMobil_SHC_600.aspx

This oil is recommended by Hub City for use in their speed reducers.
They recommend a 50/50 mix of the two to get the viscosity higher than
90wt (630) and less than 140wt (634). These oils are 100% compatible
with eachother. Only the viscosity indexes are different. The base oil
is the same. Most reducers take around 4oz.

Just bring me an empty quart container and you can have your flavor for
FREE! Or you can buy it at Grainger...

I recommend lowering your tower and removing your cables for inspection
and lubrication! Its easier than you think! Its also a good time to give
the pulleys some maintenance! You would be surprised how stiff the
bearings are in most towers I see!

If you don't think you can do it yourself, give Skip or another pro a
call. Maybe Glen can help in the San Diego area?

If there is more people than 6 who want Pre-Lube 6, I'll order more
cases.

Lastly, if you have the Fulton brake winches, (K1550 or K2550), give
them a good look...especially the disc brakes! When these fail...and
they do, its not pretty! I had to switch one out for AA6PW when his came
apart!

New discs are available from any Fulton dealer. Changing out a K1550 for
a K2550 is not that hard and sure makes going up much easier!
