Comments: Yes - the Santa Anna conditions did prevail - not very windy at
my end either - but very dry and "noise" was 'BAD'!!!  I knew there were
guys calling - but just couldn't pull them out.  With persistence - they
would rise out of the noise long enough to make a Q - but it was tiring -
kept hoping things would get better - but no joy.  10 was amazing on Sunday
morning - EU's were booming in on CW - haven't counted the number of EU Q's
but quite a few - they even showed up on 15.  I was able to make the sweep
- VE8GTR - called me on 20SSB for the last Mult about 0200Z on Sat(7PM -
local).  He called about two or three minutes after getting a call from a
VT station which I was also needing.  Ended up working several other VT's
before the end - but only one NT.  There were several ND's and SD's this
time also which was good.  Amazing work by Danny and Craig and some of the
guys (K6XX - up north was way up there too).  Had more CW Q's this time
than in the past - (1019-CW vs 821-SSB) - hoping to break the SLUI record
but just couldn't get there.  There were some high out-of-state scores too
- GREAT work by NCCC in promoting and keeping CQP going strong.  Thanks to
NCCC guys for all their work and all the SCCC Q's.  Hope everyone had fun
in-spite of the  the condx.  73 - Dick
PS - Had email from EI4...  Rob, with audio clip while on 15SSB - crazy
strong EU condx at times.
