Subject: [NCCC] Amplifier, Tubes for Sale

No, you can never have too much radio gear, but sometimes one might have
too many of too many different types of "good stuff". It is time to trim
down amplifier parts that either haven't been used in a decade or where
I have more than a lifetime's supply worth....

Everything is recently tested and is guaranteed working to full
specifications.

-AL-1200 Amplifier. Perfect electrically, nearly spotless physically.
3CX1200A7 tube has low hours. No contest use since 2004, but powered up
for tests annually. Yesterday's test shows full output on all bands.
$1600 OBO.

-Spare 3CX1200A7 tube, tested to full output (in above amplifier) on all
bands, yesterday. $500 OBO. Amplifier purchaser gets priority for spare.

-Amperex 3-500 pair. Not Chinese. Pulled from working AL-82, where the
pair output full 1500W power on all bands without issue. These are also
lightly used--there was no contest operating time on them. Sold as a
pair. $280 OBO.
Sockets, plate caps, and glass chimneys also available. (AL-82 was
converted to use an 8877). Note that the 3CX1200A7 uses the same socket
and chimney.

-Svetlana Gu-74b (aka 4CX800) pairs. As used in the Alpha 91b, 99, and
Acom amps. Several pairs available, including two pairs that were
matched by Alpha in Colorado. All pairs are full output and were
re-gettered and RF tested recently in an Alpha 91b. These pairs have
been rotated through the amplifier; 1 or 2 years installed, the rest of
the time on the shelf. $185/pair Alpha-matched, $160/pair others (these
pairs have the same date codes).
