           Soapbox : I spent a good part of the day Saturday 
inventorying the parts in my new Elecraft K3 transceiver kit. Sunday 
morning I went to my remote site and wasted most of the day trying to 
get my remote operation capability restored and trying to work FT4TA. 
After many hours of un-installing and re-installing software and trying 
various other things, I finally decided that the serial interface in my 
Array Solution Power-MasterII wattmeter must be toast. This was around 
5PM local time and I needed to be in downtown LA at 7:30PM, so I decided 
to squeeze in a bit of "fresh meat factor" SS CW operating on 20 meters. 
I didn't have time to load the right CW memories in N1MM so I ended up 
sending almost everything by hand. I started at 0130 UTC (5:30PM local) 
and at 0212 UTC (6:12PM local) nobody came back to me after I finished 
working N7NM, so I pulled the plug and headed for LA. Fortunately 
traffic wasn't too bad, so I was only about 5 minutes late reaching my 
destination. Anyway, it was fun while it lasted. I even managed to put a 
few fellow SCCC members in my log.
