[SCCC] SCCC Digest, Vol 142, Issue 26

>K6NA: Don't indicate "SCCC" on that line, as it is not the
recognized name in the CQ WW club database.

Right! SCCC is ambiguous to the databases [e.g., South Carolina Contest
Club, Southern California Contest Club, etc.]. Bruce's log submission form
drop-down list allows selection of "Southern California Contest Club" as
your club.

Around 1997 SCCC made an effort to beat NCCC in SS CW. I had stickers made
up for members to put on their paper logs that said "Southern California
Contest Club." Some guys didn't use them, or merely put "SCCC"as their
club, so we only won the nationwide club competition for the Medium Size
Club class, when in fact on points-- had all the member logs been counted--
we had beaten the much larger NCCC.
