Here’s the next step:  Drone-based field strength measurements.  How does your installed antenna actually perform?

This idea will be commonplace in not too many years.  Using correction factors we might be able to measure in the antenna near field and save time/money.  And, of course, comparison of measured results to EZ-NEC will be automatically compiled.

Its things like this that make the FCC Amateur Radio license grant program valuable to America – along with the international goodwill generated by our DX/contest QSOs.
