The 'key' to a good voice keyer is  Don't Use SSB...Or if you must, N1MM...

My K3 has 4 voice memories plus I use the sound card out to N1MM as a 
.wav file.  I can record into the PC and taylor it to many different 
messages.  I am sure Writelog also has the same feature.  Don't remember.
