Comments:

SOAPBOX: What a blast! And NEVER have I had such wierd RTTY lissajous
patterns

SOAPBOX: for an entire contest - oddness felt like I was in Alaska - and
never

SOAPBOX: have I had so much garble on the screen - what's THAT about? Worked
all

SOAPBOX: 50 states except for VT. It was fun watching Ed P49X's QSO totals

SOAPBOX: mount as time went on - they were going up so fast I figure he has
to

SOAPBOX: be using SO8R! There was a JM1 calling CQ RU at 3599.75 - I never
did

SOAPBOX: hear him get an answer... Lots of new calls heard - that was great.

SOAPBOX: I heard one newbie "HOW COPY? BTU OM, (call) DE (call) PSE KN" then

SOAPBOX: at his next turn, "TNX RTTY CONTEST CONTACT AND THE OTHER ONE ON 40
METERS"

SOAPBOX: - needless to say, you could hear crickets on the frequency after
that.

SOAPBOX: But he'll be back, I hope, catch on, and make a great RTTY
contester.

SOAPBOX: TenTec Omni VII, new microKEYER interface (slick!), Alpha 87A,
Drake

SOAPBOX: MN-2000 tuner, wires up 30 feet. Thanks to all for the Q's in a
great

SOAPBOX: contest! See you from K6PV/6 on Catalina Island (NA-066) for the

SOAPBOX: NAQP RTTY event in late February! 73, Ray N6HE
