[SCCC] Another gavel

The Southern California Contest Club has won another gavel, 
this one for the January, 2015 VHF contest.

The results are in the July issue of QST, which is now online.
SCCC had a club aggregate score of 1.787 megapoints, 
easily the #1 total of any club in the medium category.  The 
Potomac Valley Radio Club was second with 595K.  The 
only higher club score was the Mt. Airy VHF Radio Club's 
!.883 megapoints in the unlimited category.  Mt. Airy 
members submitted 66 logs.  SCCC had 12 logs.

Once again, the key to success for SCCC was its rovers, 
who posted the six highest rover scores in the country.  K6FGV 
was #1 with 341K, followed closely by N6VI with 338K.  N6HB 
was third, followed by W6TTF, WA6WTF and W6TE.  In the 
single operator portable category, N6NB easily won with 179K, 
a new national record in that category.
