Comments: First use with 2nd 40 Mtr Ele on my 4 Ele SteppIR - fun - and it
seems to be working!  Couldn't compare it to a dipole - but it sure seemed
to help. Friday evening on 40 seemed rough - Sat evening was much better -
more productive. Saturday during a majority of the the day the bands just
didn't seem to be very good.  It was great to catch the tail end of the
Sunday morning openings to EU when I got back from church. Our JA's friends
helped me with around 400 Q's out of the 1200+. I better get ready with
more QSL cards!!!  Worked our friend Kurt, VP9/W6PH, on 4 bands - missed
him on 80.  73's until the next one!  Dick
