I worked him 5 minutes later, 0435Z, on 40M.  I agree, the band was lousy, but I still managed 53 countries there, probably finishing my 40M DXCC.  Confirmations are already rolling in.  



Now to figure out how to hear DX on 80.  :)

During the contest I never heard him except on 10-15-20.  40m was lousy, 
but I went to bed at 9:30 PM, so missed the best time.:-)
