Get rid of that Remote Rig K3 Kludge.

Use a Modern SDR (Elad, Flex) with a direct Ethernet Connection that is purpose built for remoting and you will not have those ridiculous issues.. NOR will you need an IT Genius.. just plug them in and you are remoting...

Comments:

Mediocre Condx & technical problems trying to use a cel phone to tether in internet (DSL from ATT sucks and no cable in this area) especially with stations trying to remote in to operate. Operator Remoting in early Saturday morning could not work 80 or 160 as RFI would kill his connection and early Sunday morning rain static and local QRN killed any chance of running JA on
80
and 160 with OP on station. Any IT geniuses want to join the NX6T team for remoting in ?!
