Hi all,
N6AA has joined the team to bring us to five if you include me. We still
need five more to fill SCCC #1 and would love to have more to begin filling
SCCC #2. All efforts large or small will help our SCCC teams. Let me know if
you are interested in joining us.

Hello again all,
We've quickly had K6LA, K6ZH and W6PH step up to the plate. How about you?
You'll be running in this weekend's contest, right? Please let me know if
you want to join the SCCC teams and put us back on the map!

Subject: North American Sprint SCCC Team - Next Saturday Night
Hello all,
I am filling in for Tim, N6WIN as Manager for the NA Sprint and NAQP teams
for SCCC. Tim has been very busy with another endeavor of late. I
volunteered to help out in the meantime.
Consider this an invitation to join the SCCC in the upcoming North American
Sprint CW contest. Please let me know if you would like to be a part of an
SCCC team in the February 7 (UTC) event. Remember the glory days? SCCC used
to win or place in the Top 3 teams regularly in those days. We had some
really superb contesters back then, and we still do! In those days, we often
fielded three teams in the Sprint contests and even our Team 2 placed
highly.
Let's dust off the cobwebs and see if we can't make a bit of an imprint
again!
If you are planning to or can get on for this one, Saturday local (4pm -8
pm), Sunday Feb 7 UTC (0000Z-0400Z), please let me know. If you would,
please also tell me whether you can operate full time and if not, how many
hours you can contribute. If you can estimate your potential score too, I
would appreciate it. That will help me place you on Team 1 or Team 2
(assuming we have more than ten participants and can field more than one
team).
The Sprint is a highly respected contest due in part to the unique QSY rule
that it introduced many years ago. It's a great place to spend four hours
and put your foot to the metal. Even if you are a little pistol (hey, I
resemble that!) or a newcomer to contesting, it's a great place to hone your
skills and improve on your score twice a year. And we would love to have
each and every one of you on an SCCC team!
Rules can be found on the NCJ (National Contest Journal) web site at
http://ncjweb.com/Sprint-Rules.pdf
Our own N6TR (one of our earliest members) wrote and published this Sprint
Tips and Tricks page. It's a great place to start if you are new or rusty at
the NA Sprints.

Let me know if you want to be on an SCCC team. Let's do this!
