[SCCC] Memory keyers

I have a stack of QST's from back in the 20's/30's/40s (somewhere).
That is where I must have read it and it probably was a
letter to the editor... 
I remember when SSB was 'Single Slop Bucket' and would never
catch on.

A search of the QST archives [going back to 1942] show only 7 articles written [using "electronic keyers" a the search subject]. None of them were close to "electronic keyers spell the death of ham radio".
