If you can fit BOG listening antenna on your lot, it is worth to try, 200
ft is bit long for 160 and 160 ft could already we enough. It worked
really well for me. 73 de Marko

Comments:

I was just operating few evening/night hours and testing my new 200 ft
beverage
on ground listening antenna. It completely changed my 160 m capability. I
can
now hear stations on East Coast, before it was very hard to get anything on
log
beyond middle of the country with my top fed sloper TX antenna. Now I made
around 140 QSOs to zone 5. I worked all states but Maine on 1st evening and
then decided to go back to try to find Maine On Sunday night and it was my
3rd
QSO answering my CQ. Band was good again and decided to stay and made
another
100+ QSOs. I did not really look for multipliers but CR2 and CE made it to
my
log as DX. I'm sure some JA would have been workable but I wasn't around
that
time. Thanks to Bill N0AC for the tip to try BOG after he saw my post after
Stew Perry. BOG worked very well for me ! TNX for QSOs de Marko N5ZO
