CW: TenTec Omni VII, tribander at 35'; 40/80 fan dipole at 30'

SSB (GOTA+SOLAR+VHF+2 SSB: various (best was tribander at 30')

Except for CW, a very relaxed effort.

Propane generators rock!

25 DX countries called in. Took us awhile to copy the first (a UT5 - thought
it

was a VERY sloppy fist at first).

The CW station effort turned intense as we realized we might hit 1000

Q's....("I TOLD YOU not to got to the bathroom!"). Literally in the

last 2 minutes, we get a guy with a bug who makes lots of mistakes and
corrects

them all with a fully-wound-down string of dits (10-12!) while we're yelling
at

the radio, "Arrggghhhh! Come ON, man!" But we squeaked under the wire

with 1001. Happy dance time!

Are we the only group that hoists the 40/80 dipole up the tower and as we

admire our work see the coax neatly coiled up at the base of the tower?

Lots of fun - I've attended more than 40 years of K6AA Field Days......
