[SCCC] Computer audio into same mic input as microphone

I'm gearing up for the CQ WW DX SSB Contest this weekend.
I have my computer audio connected to the mic input of my radio at the
proper level to automatically call CQ or send my call sign.
I'm using N1MM+ to playback, via F keys, my recorded voice in .wav files
and also to key the mic via WinKeyer's PTT jack in the back. I also have a
foot switch in parallel with that PTT. No problem with the PTTs.
When I disconnect the computer feed and connect my microphone, it works
fine. That is to say, the computer and the WinKeyer PTT work fine by
themselves. and the headset microphone and foot switch work fine by
themselves.
However, when I connect both the computer AND the headset microphone, in
parallel, I get a loud rush of sound (not feedback) that is transmitted. Of
course, totally unacceptable. RF feedback does not seem to be the problem
since each audio feed works fine on its own. When the two are in parallel,
that's when the mess occurs.
Right now, I have a simple radio, a Kenwood TS-50, and can only use the
front mic input. There is no other audio input on the radio.
Has anything like this happened to anyone out there? Does it sound
familiar? Sounds like I might have to isolate the one (audio input) from
the other. Why? How? What's causing the disharmony? Have you done that?
Thanks.
