I have never operated an RTTY contest and have only a handful of RTTY QSO's
in my log, so I decided it might be fun to play around in the RTTY Roundup
this weekend to get my feet wet.  I downloaded a fresh copy of N1MM+ and
MMTTY and interfaced the K3 to the PC.  After some finagling I managed to
get things working correctly just prior to the contest starting.  I elected
to just S&P the entire time to get used to the software, etc.  Overall, it
was fun and I'll definitely give it another shot.  I was amazed at how well
the RTTY Big Guns such as P49X did at running stations.  I had a hard time
getting "error free print" on single strong stations let alone a pile up of
stations.  Impressive.
