To all the NCCC guys who came to my aid, thank you very much. I had
configured everything correctly. I had the FTDX3000 on the RS232 (DB9) port on
my laptop and the K3 on a USB port. The RS232 port was COM1 and the USB
port was COM9.

The FTDX3000 was configured 38400 N-8-2 DTR and RTS always ON and was
Radio 2. The K3 was configured 38400 N-8-1 DTR and RTS always OFF and was
Radio 1. This worked fine with Win-Test.

I tried many different iterations, changing radio numbers, trying to
communicate with the FTDX3000 as a single radio. Nothing worked until I changed
the baud rate in the FTDX3000 and N1MM+ config to 19200. All of the
sudden the FTDX3000 was recognized. That was the only change. I checked it
changing radios and other iterations and N1MM+ continued to communicate with
the FTDX3000.

It isn't logical why this would make a difference but it did. The Device
Manager showed both COM1 and COM9 as active.

CU in the CQP.

Couple settings to check in the Configurer, under the Hardware tab. With
two radios, when you open the Set sub-dialog, you have to set the Radio Nr
(to 1 and 2). Then I think you have to select the SO2R button on the
Hardware tab. Otherwise it probably only talks to radio #1. For debugging the
FT, maybe just make that the ONLY radio temporarily.
