*Subject:* Fw: Pix of Relief Boat
Here's pix of a load of fans, batteries & bug spray that an anonymous ham
donor gave. They went to a hospital on St. John via private boat to keep
patients cool. The batteries were for the local rescue team. Bug spray
was for anyone who wanted it because the skeeters are terrible now that
we're getting soaked by rain bands from Jose.
You can quote me on this:
"Our local comms team is doing what we are trained to do. Our NIMS
training has paid off in spades. This is the BEST type of "contest" we
could be involved in. The multipliers are 'saved lives', relief rendered,
and loved ones connected. All the best to my wonderful friends in 9-land"
- K9VV / NP2X @ St. Croix EOC
Monitoring TD14... Back to the hamster wheel to keep the comms ball
rolling.
73,
Fred
