My Sprint:
The way 20 sounded on my end I am surprised anyone broke 300. Congratulations to those who did.
With social obligations my operation was once again portable, and brief, from a backyard in Sherman Oaks.
An inverted vee on 20 at 33' and a 1/4 wave vertical with raised radials (5') on 40, K3 (100 W) with N1MM+ was the station.
I had an hour to set up. My first QSO was logged at 0006Z. With only 23 Qs I opted to QSY at 0040Z. 25 minutes later the vee was down, the vertical was up and my first 40 meter QSO was logged. 45 Qs later (0148Z) I had to shut down and "be social".
68 x 28 = 1,904 (78 minutes)
Since I wasn't sure this would come to pass I didn't sign up for a team.
73,
David N6AN
