Comments:
My score is down a little from that of last year, with a few less
10-pointers and less countries worked this year. I actually operated
a few less hours last year, due to a late start, but conditions
overall seemed better last year.

Last year I had added a 200-foot reversible BOG for E-W receive with
less noise, and it worked well. This year I
added a second BOG, for NW - SE receive and it also worked well.

My transmit antenna (since about 1996...) is a pair of phased
full-length wire verticals hanging from Dacron lines off the two towers. These
are base-fed in reversible cardioid pattern against a deteriorating
ground system. The radials are mostly "short" and are not buried; I pick them
up for mowing season.

Thanks to all the SoCal ops for QSOs this weekend. Good to hear many
of you on!
