If you're not winning jump balls, then call CQ. You'll get plenty of
answers and have plenty of fun.

My technique. Set your two VFOs 5 kc or more apart. Call CQ. Work one
station. Toggle to other VFO. Call CQ. Work one station. ...

Works like a charm with no demoralization factor.
