Comments:
My time-on and energy were limited by late reassembly of the
operating position, but it was great to have the station working
(mostly) again. This follows the disastrous plumbing leak in early
August which ruined the interior of our house-- floors, ceilings and
nearly all the furniture. We've spent nearly 3 months living in a
hotel. Here is some free advice for my SCCC friends: If you have
braided flex hoses under your sinks, toilets, and laundry areas (all
of you do...) -- and they are more than 7 years old-- please renew
them NOW. For a hundred bucks in hoses, it may save you a lot of
grief, and keep you on the air! Oh-- And pay your insurance
premiums. A good relationship with State Farm for 40 years has
saved our bacon.
