Bob, glad you enjoyed the online scoreboard! I have found it to be a whole
lot of fun. It's great for exactly what you found, competing against a
friend. Note that it now has some filters and can be configured to watch our
club members only if desired. It's also great to use just to keep yourself
motivated, because let's face it, we ALWAYS want to move up another notch or
two on that ladder we are watching! I find it to be a lot of fun. And in
this case, it was also fun watching TI7W and ZF1A battle it out for top SOHP
honors, as I've mentioned here. A couple of others of us were keeping an eye
on that as well.

Comments:
Attic dipoles says it all. 100 watts. Casual operation. But special thanks
to Dennis NE6I for the mention of Contest Online Scoreboard on the SCCC
reflector! Wyatt AI6V (with a G5RV way up in the air and in the clear) and
I (with my attic dipoles in an attic full of ducting, wires, and a large
heating unit under a heavy tile roof) battled it out in (near) real time on
Contest Online Scoreboard! Each of us took turns leading the other. (A real
nail-biter for a while there!) Very cool! He beat me with a score of 21,335
and 200 Qs. We even played around with the Private Room feature. Nice
addition to contesting!
