I was able to tune up my full-size 80 meter attic dipole (that snakes and
bends to fit attic space), but it kept tripping a GFI electrical outlet in
one bathroom. I just accepted that and reset it after the contest. Anyone
have a solution for such a problem?

First time I  ever worked this contest. What an interesting idea for
outside-Canada stations to earn you 2 points--unlike the Ohio QSO Party
where everyone in Ohio seems to want to work only Ohio stations, to the
detriment of those outside Ohio. Well, they're just different.

Didn't really see any spectacular band openings, at least while I was on
the radio. With my attic dipoles, I don't S&P (Search and Pounce), I
S&C--Scrape and Claw. Nice contest though.
