I will be starting out the contest on all bands in DM13 with N6NB/R and N1BKB/r as a pack rover. We will be going to DM03, then DM14 and DM04 in the Monrovia area.
After that I will be a Limited Rover. I need to figure out how to submit a checklog for the high band QSOs later.

Sunday morning I plan to go to Lebec over the Grapevine to work grids to the north. I will then return to the L.A. Basin and will operate from any grid where I don't have
many contacts, probably Signal Hill DM03.

I prefer SSB and CW QSOs, but will be prepared with FT8, but that is a lot slower. I tried the new NA VHF Contest features in the 2.0 version, and it is fantastic. It is compatible
with stations in or out of the contest. No funny grids this time, and it supports my /R callsign.

I will have APRS turned on via a phone app, and you can track me at

Hope to work you all! I expect a lull in the action on Sunday - Go RAMS!

73,
Tim N6GP/R
