Comments:

Never really operated 160M until October 2018 (two 160 QSOs total from 1959
to 2018), so first time ever in a 160 meter contest.  Was expecting much
worse condx for the contest.  Quite surprised at the Western EU opening
Saturday night.  In fact, 160M during this contest felt somewhat like 80M
condx, noise/static crashes aside.  Just an observation/recollection from my
(probably faulty) 80 meter memories of the late 70s and early 80s. 

Wasn't anticipating running on Saturday night/Sunday morning, just planned
for S&P, and hadn't set up and tested macros for running on the
computer/logger.  I surely need to improve my CW running skills and my
typing skills. 

Can still hear the noise and static crashes.  Need more sleep to recover.  

Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

 

P.S.  160M enthusiasts should set up a go-fund-me account to provide better
ears for BY1RX, 9M6NA, DS3EXX and a few others.  Endless CQing and QRZing,
no USA QSOing. ;-)
