           Soapbox : I really didn't have time to do this contest, but 
since I missed most of the WPX CW contest this year I decided I was 
going to make time for this one. Conditions during the first-half of the 
contest really had me questioning the wisdom of that decision. I was 
having some much trouble making QSO that would normally be chip shots 
that I began wondering if perhaps my antennas had fallen down :-). 
Twenty seemed to be going to sleep Saturday evening at which point I was 
seriously contemplating calling it quits. Fortunately, I hung in long 
enough to hear 20 meters come back to life and I chased the improved 
band conditions all the way to the end.
