[SCCC] N6GP CQ WPX CW SB/20 from Arizona

Hi,

I looked at the CQ club scoring rules this morning and concluded that Tim's Tucson operation would count toward an SCCC aggregate score. Here's a quick summary of the club rules:
- club members must permanently and principally reside within a 250-mile radius circle
- club members can operate from anywhere in the world and have the score count for the club (unlike the ARRL)
- club scores are the sum of CW and phone scores for a given contest
- a club must have at least 4 submitted logs to be shown in the club scores
- there's no division of clubs by size

Hi,

This is not meant to be a snarky comment, but simply a question. Does anyone pay attention to aggregate club scores in CQ-sponsored contests? I've historically included my club affiliation in my submitted CQ logs, but I'm unaware of any club scores.

Comments:

Was portable in Tuscon AZ in my brother in-law's back yard. Mounted a LNR
Precision End fed 20m dipole vertically on a 12m Spiderbeam fiberglass pole. Rig
was IC-7000. It worked far beyond expectations. Worked LU, CN, UA1, I, UR, JA
and ZL, and a lot of the Caribbean. Fun to hear the Calif stations at their
full strength.

To SCCC:
We don't have a circle on our website for CQ contests. I assumed that Tucson was outside the radius to submit my score
with our Club -Tim
