[SCCC] For Contesting: K3s v 7610 v FTdx101D

Hi all -

This is a little-pistol question: I've been using a TS-590sg and I've
been happy with it, but I've started thinking about getting a new rig.

It looks like a used Elecraft K3S-with-trimmings and the Icom IC-7610
and the Yaesu FTDX101D all cost sorta in the $2,500 to $3,500 range,
which fits my pocketbook at the moment.

I've some experience with the K3S, but none at all with the 7610 or
the FTDX101D.

I'm mostly looking for a rig for fixed on-my-desk operations, but I
understand that the K3S also doubles as a pretty good take-to-Field-Day
rig and such.

Anyone have thoughts on which of the three you'd buy today, and why ...

(BTW, I really need to work on my antennas more than my rig, but I'm
kinda frozen out of that until some local construction is finished.)

THANKS and 73 de Wolf (WA6I)
