Wow, what a surprise!  I, and hundreds of others, worked Paul N4PN this past
weekend in CW Sweepstakes!  I've contacted him in contests for many years!

The one and only time I've been to Dayton - about 2 or 3 years ago - I had
the pleasure of meeting him and John K4BAI.  They were having lunch
together, and I kind of "broke in" to introduce myself and to thank them for
their many years of contesting from GA!  

RIP, Paul, and tnx for the MANY QSOs!

For those of us who knew him: Paul Newberry, N4PN, is reported to have died
Tuesday from a massive heart attack. I didn't know him personally but recall
shaking his hand years ago when introduced to him at some convention. He was
a top-notch CW contester and DXer.

Also, Steve Veador, N4DXS, died Monday night of complications from a lung
transplant. He was a stolid RTTY contester.
