[SCCC] Elmer Question: How much TX offset in CW Simplex Pileup?

I had a lot of success this weekend with an offset of about .05-.07 khz,
usually down, but depends on where the other callers are. Enough to allow
some differentiation in signals by the station I'm calling, but not so far
that they have to tune (much). Timing is certainly important as well.
