Hi all,
I had Uverse TV and 1 KW on 160 and 80 blew away their modem, anyone operating QRO using Spectrum for TV, Phone and Internet ?
I assume would have a box with DVR and WIFI.  Any problem with any feature being blown away or hash in recorded programs?
If it works better than my ATT and DirecTV I might go for my second 100 on Topband hi hi
Thanks

Found the N6NB stuff - think Dennis already had a link to this somewhere:

One funny story I remember - this is back in the day where there was a 2
meter FM DX repeater - or perhaps simplex frequency for alerting people
when DX showed up.

We actually had a good enough shot to the North to announce ourselves!  :-)

Yes; here's the link: http://n6nb.com/xe2si.htm

I have several fun stories about that operation that I incorporate into my
"Tales of a Contest DXpeditioner" talk for clubs and conventions.

Maybe I'll write them up and offer them to Dennis for a Web article.

N6NB, Wayne Overbeck, used to have a pretty nice writeup and pictures of
the XE2SI operations on his web page.  I can't seem to find it - but maybe
someone else knows where it is (Marty?).

I'm pretty sure that hiding under that facial hair (or any hair, in some
cases) were Dave Hodge, Kurt Andress, Glenn Rattmann, Tom Hoyne and Mark
Beckwith in addition to N6ND and me.

Fond memories, indeed, Dennis.  I was in on the first one, October
1983.  Rick ND and I shared 20 meters.  Noteworthy was Tree N6TR signing
" XE2Sensual Intercourse" but it was a different version of the word
"sensual".  Others as I recall were N6NB N6AA K6NA N6ZZ; I'm sure I
missed someone.
