Score is nothing exciting. Tried out my logging software after
modifying from SS for CQ WW. Got on the radio occasionally, but did
other stuff this weekend, too. Was fun to play in this contest a bit
even with non-gain antennas in a hole. How well I did to the west
reflects the much less obstructed horizon in that direction.
Definitely fun to have 15 and 10 open; looking forward to more of this
solar cycle. Good practice copying JA 2x3 callsigns or that extra
long 8J17CALL/1. (Wanted to get them right the first time heard.)
Tried a few times, but calling never produced more than 2 Qs. Good
practice listening and finding DX. I heard more zones and countries
than I worked (YB, 9M6, 8P, HP, EI, EA for example.) Either they
weren't going to hear me or they weren't going to hear me due to
others responding. Definitely a different flavor of contest. From a
decent location with a modest gain tribander, would be a lot more
productive.

KX3/KXPA100, 40m vert for 80/40 and occasionally 15, telescoping
dipole 25 ft (roof level) in backyard for 10/15/20.

Fun stuff.
