Comments:

I was pleased to be able to participate for California in the CQP this year,
both from my home call, and as K6A with the San Diego Contest Club NX6T. 

The bands seemed a bit noisy, but conditions were pretty good, and there was a
nice opening on 15 meters Sunday morning.
