The VHF contest begins at 1800z this Saturday. I plan to rove in our local 4 grids (DM03, 04, 13 and 14) on Saturday.
In a quest for multipliers, I am going to drive somewhere north to try to get a few northern Calif folks.
I might try CM94 and then further north to CM95. Another plan might be to go to the Jack In the Box at the Grapevine
exit for DM04, and then Bakersfield area for DM05. Yet another would be up the I-15 to Victorville area for DM14, and
maybe DM15. Any suggestions where to go that has a good shot north to Sacramento would be welcome. Remember - So Calif
National Forests are off limits this weekend.

I will be on the 4 low bands - 6m, 2m, 222 (FM only) and 440. My preference would be SSB contacts, but I will also be on FT8 on 6 and 2 (50.313 and 144.174)
FT4 would be awesome, but we just don't seem to have the ball rolling on that. 2m (146.52, .55, .58) and 440 FM (446.0) were
super busy in June VHF, so lets keep the momentum going there. I almost neglected SSB on 2 and 440 in June. Lots of FM!

I will have APRS turned on, so you can track me on www.aprs.fi

Hope to see you on the air! Even just a QSO or 2 through the day helps! Check in during the NFL halftimes, or between games.
Any QSOs on Sunday are REALLY appreciated!

Really excited to have Ryan N7OW/R here on Saturday. Please help make his drive worthwhile!

Tnx & 73,

Tim N6GP/R
